1815 Ton, 126″ x 86″ Superplastic Forming (SPF) press.
Platen Size: 126″ (L/R) x 86” (F/B). Platens are a single piece ductile iron construction, core drilled for a single row of multi-zone radiant heaters and control thermocouples, and are machined with T-slots for tool mounting on working surfaces.
Press frame is a down-acting, four-post configuration with fabricated steel bolsters. Head bolster (crown) and lower bolster (base) are fixed and the moving bolster is attached to the main cylinder rams and pistons.
Press clamp capacity is 1815 Ton.
Maximum operating temperature of 600ºC.
Complete with an industrial computer interface with Accudyne SPF PLC control program. The electrical control system is a PLC based system. The PLC controls all machine functions, safeties and interlocks.
